Summer Creativity Classes Now Up!!

At Nevada Sky Creatives, we are dedicated to nurturing creativity and fostering artistic growth. Our offerings include individual art classes, youth camps held at our dedicated South Reno backyard studio, and adult workshops around the community. Our art sessions cater to individuals aged 7 and above, encouraging a spirit of artistic exploration through the study of renowned artists, diverse techniques, and a variety of  mediums. Our primary goal is to cultivate creativity and artistic development within a supportive and encouraging environment.

About the Creator Ashley Carson: Residing in northern Nevada since 1996, I've called this beautiful region my home for over two decades. Inspired by a  journey that began in high school, I ventured into an artistic path  guided by the belief of my art teacher who saw potential in me that I  had yet to recognize. This initial spark led to a very grateful  opportunity - at Sierra Nevada College, where I earned my Bachelor’s  degree in Fine Arts, with a concentration in ceramics and 2-dimensional  design.

   Over  the years, I had the privilege of contributing to a gallery space, art workshops and  nurturing young minds through after-school art classes. Through  introspection, I've come to appreciate that art isn't just about the  final creation; it's a profound process that promotes both creation and  healing, a therapeutic outlet that resonates with me deeply. 

   My artwork serves as a mirror, reflecting my  internal landscapes and the world around me. I enjoy the exploration of  various mediums and repurposing materials.

Today,  my life has evolved to encompass motherhood—a fulfilling role as a mom to two homeschooled children, alongside my husband. I find joy in  activities like gardening, raising chickens, estate sales, music and embracing the great outdoors.

   My aspiration is to guide others on their paths towards healing  and growth through art. I'm happy to venture on this journey, drawing from my past and present, and eagerly anticipating the connections that await.
